This is a really nice small campground with friendly and helpful operators. It is well maintained and only a 5-minute walk to the town. Although I did not use the showers and toilets, as I had everything on board. Overall, it is one of the best campsites I have been to.
Dokkum is a charming town that is definitely worth visiting. It features picturesque cobbled streets, beautiful canals with lovely boats, and numerous cozy cafes. There is even a convenient campsite located right in town. Although the facilities may be a bit dated, the campsite is functional and offers a pleasant stay.
