Great location for exploring Rome.
Hu Roma Camping is located at 832 Via Aurelia in Rome. It is a year-round camping site that offers convenient access via the bus stop located right in front. The Vatican is only 5 km away, making it an ideal base for vacation or relaxation. The site provides pitches for tents, campers, and caravans, as well as comfortable accommodations like cabins, bungalows, and chalets. There is a nice restaurant, bar, and pizza place on-site for dining options. Amenities include hot showers, sinks, a barbecue area, playground, swimming pool, common areas, and laundry facilities. Pets are welcome, and the camping site is beautifully landscaped. Additionally, there is a commercial center and a large grocery store located directly across from the camping site.

When we arrived, we had to wait in a queue for about 45 minutes until we were served. There was only one open counter. It is a very large campsite, but overall the bathrooms were not very clean. The pool was opened on the day we were leaving. It is well-connected to Rome, with a bus stop right outside the campsite. Two buses pass through that stop and take you to the city center in about 30 minutes. When you arrive and they assign you a pitch, make sure it is not too small. Initially, they gave us a small parking-like space, but we moved to the one next to it and informed the reception. They also have laundry facilities with washers and dryers, which is convenient when you have been traveling for a while. The cost is 35€ per night.
