This campsite offers convenient access to the Schwentine river, complete with its own dock for canoes and a bathing area. It is located within walking distance of the center of Malente and the Kellersee swimming area. The campsite also provides a bread service and has clean and modern sanitary facilities. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and is reasonably priced at 19 euros per night for two adults staying in a bus.
We stayed here for an overnight stop and parked on the grassy area at the back without electricity. It was a pleasant experience. The check-out time is until 10am. However, since the nearest supermarket opens at 12pm, we wanted to stay for an additional 1.5 hours. The receptionist, who was not very friendly, asked for an extra 10 euros for that. We found this to be quite expensive, so we deducted points accordingly.
Centrally located, within walking distance to the city center and Kellersee and Diecksee lakes. Great for hiking and cycling tours. Nearby boat docks for the 5 lake cruise and canoe rental. Playgrounds and parks available. Boat dock located at the Schwentine river.
