There is a small area with gravel next to the road where two cars can park. It is suitable for MPVs or 4x4 vehicles as the terrain is rough. We decided to park there overnight so that we could start our journey to the scar early in the morning. It was peaceful and we woke up to a stunning view.
This parking area is accessible for various vehicles, including T5s. Parking here can help level the van. It's a short walk to Janet’s Foss, about 2 minutes. Gordale Scar is 0.25 miles away, and Malham Cove is 1.25 miles, part of a popular circular hiking route.
