We have pitches available for self-sufficient campers in our yard. Please note that we do not provide facilities such as toilets, showers, waste disposal, or camping toilets. However, there is a disposal facility located about 5km away for a small fee. Our farm, Runeholm, is located 14km southeast of Vimmerby. Currently, the pitches by the water are unavailable due to water and species protection regulations. The nearest neighbor is approximately 1km away, and the nearest shop is just 5km away. The Vimmerby area offers numerous attractions such as Astrid Lindgrens World, Astrid Lindgrens Näs, Bullerbü or Katthult Hof in Rumskulla, Virum Älgpark, Norra Kvill National Park, a high ropes course, over 170km of hiking trails, and trips to Västervik or Kalmar on the Baltic Sea.
Warm welcome at the campsite with friendly greetings. The owners are from Bavaria and very accommodating! The lakeside spot was too wet for me after the rain, so I parked on a nearby grassy area. Electricity and water are available if needed. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming.
