The Spinney Caravan Site is a peaceful and private licensed site located in rural Hampshire, close to the charming town of Alresford. It has great access to major roads, making it an ideal base for exploring Hampshire or traveling to other destinations.
Positive: The old train is a highlight and it is located near a small town. Negative: It is quite expensive, with the price increasing in 2022. It only offers a nice location and electricity, but does not provide toilets, showers, water, or a chemical toilet disposal. However, waste disposal is available for a fee. The river walk is decent, but there are fences everywhere. The camping area can be noisy due to the road and sports fields nearby.
This location offers small fields without toilets or showers, and no customer service. It is necessary to search or pay for these amenities separately. Due to this, we decided to turn back and find an alternative option.
