This location is a peaceful and scenic spot near the Downs. The road leading to the lay by is well-maintained with no potholes, although there are some further up the lane. The area is not busy, with occasional passing cars. A pub is within walking distance and Middle Farm shop is just a short drive away. There are also plenty of country walks near Charleston. Although there is some noise from the nearby road, it is still a recommended place to stay.
