We had a peaceful night but it gets crowded early in the morning. The location is quite close to the road but it's suitable for a one-night stay.

There is a small car park at the bottom of the RWE grounds near the "Alter Römerturm" vantage point on the Sophienhöhe in Jülich am Hambach. Weekdays offer a quiet and peaceful experience with minimal visitors. You can cook outdoors and enjoy uninterrupted sleep without disturbance. Although there is some noise from the nearby highway, it is not too bothersome. The car park serves as a starting point for hiking trails around the Sophienhöhe.

This spot is suitable for making a quick stop and walking the dog. The nearby road is easily visible but it can be quite busy with a lot of trucks and other vehicles passing by.
