Campingplatz Ahretal in Winterberg-Züschen has mostly long-term campers, but also offers 15 tourist spots. The friendly owners are accommodating, even without a reservation. Conveniently located near great hiking trails, mountain bike trails, and the "Mein Homberg" ski resort. The cost is €22 for a pitch with two people, €3.50 for children, and €1.50 for dogs.
The reception starts at 9:30 AM and closes at 10 AM. Visitors should call if arriving later. There are many spaces for long-term guests and about 10 for short stays. The facilities are clean and new. Only cash payments are accepted, with additional costs for waste, showers, pets, and electricity.
