You can park your mobile home right in front of the castle, which is allowed. Just buy a night ticket from the machine or visitor center. The parking lot is spacious, with room for around 50 mobile homes, although it's not usually that crowded. It's a peaceful area, and the toilets are clean and free of charge.
Ideal parking space for a one-night stay to visit Läcko Castle and the Nature Museum. There were only a few motorhomes on the weekend and it was very quiet at night. Payment is easy with the easypark app as the machine at the motorhome parking space does not work. You can also make use of the excellent waste disposal and water facilities of the nearby campground, which is convenient.
There is a beautiful spot near the castle with clean restrooms. We paid 150 SEK, which is a fair price. However, it is disheartening to see that not all visitors are paying for their parking, which is quite disappointing to us.
