There are several scenic spots along the gravel road near the Daugava river. Each spot features a picnic table and a small beach for swimming or fishing. Some spots even have fire pits. The view is beautiful and you can choose to stay overnight. It's quiet in late June, with only people who come for swimming or fishing. Keep in mind that there are no toilets available, so please remember to take your trash with you.
