Visit ELINGE ÄLPARK, a park where you can observe and interact with elks. Entrance fee is SEK 100 (SEK 80 for children aged 3 to 12). Overnight parking is available upon request. The park is located in a remote area and can be reached via a well-maintained 3 km track. Don't miss the opportunity to shop for elk antlers and moose meat.
Visitors had the opportunity to interact with the friendly moose by feeding and petting them. The shop, although small, offered a selection of moose meat and souvenirs. A toilet was available as long as the shop was open. During the stay in late March, the visitors had the chance to speak with the owner and spent a night there. However, it should be noted that after the shop closes, there would be no sanitary facilities.
The access road is an unpaved path of approximately 4 kilometers. The current admission fee for adults is 130SEK. After contacting the shop owner, we were allowed to stay overnight. The owners provided us with treats for the moose. It's a unique opportunity to get close to a moose. The café owner speaks German and was very friendly and helpful. We had a peaceful time.
