The view is absolutely stunning and definitely worth it on a clear day.
This small area at the edge of the forest is perfect for a quick stop or to take your dog for a walk. It is a peaceful location with little traffic. Please note that driving into the forest is not allowed. On your way to this spot, you can visit a farm shop that offers local products and fresh fruit. During the summer, you can even pick cherries in a nearby orchard. If you enjoy biking or long walks, there is a marked hiking trail that leads to Solothurn, approximately an hour away from this location.

There are 2 parking spots for small campervans at the entrance of the forest. We had to wait for a spot to become available. There were people walking by with their dogs, but it wasn't bothersome. The night was peaceful despite the nearby road and train. There were a lot of mosquitoes due to a puddle in the drainage canal.
