Alpincamp is a friendly camping site that we enjoyed visiting during the winter. It is located in a peaceful area and although there is construction happening at the entrance, it does not disturb the pitches. The pitches are a mix of gravel and grass. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained and clean. The staff is extremely helpful and the Alp-Stube restaurant is worth a visit.
The camping site offers well-organized pitches, with a choice of grass or gravel. The cleanliness of the toilets is excellent. A free shuttle service to the valley is provided. It is a great starting point for various family-friendly excursions.
Unfortunately, this place used to be nice. The bathrooms were decent, although poorly installed (leaking faucets with no seals). There is ongoing construction, with more chalets being built. The restaurant was good. However, it seems like we won't be camping in Sappada anymore.
