Praia da Vieira de Leiria is an old camper area with a spacious parking lot near the sea, offering around 150 places for campers. It also features picnic areas and a large river. The beach is perfect for leisurely walks and is both pleasant and expansive. Facilities for emptying grey and black water are available, and on the other side of the river, visitors can find a water tap.
Spacious location with plenty of room for camping. There were around ten RVs and we had a great night's sleep. Took a walk along the sea. Unfortunately, there is a lack of staff to maintain the public areas, resulting in a lot of dirt that was just left behind after mowing. The waste disposal point, which was originally well-designed, is now neglected with no water and dirty toilet waste. It's a shame that the grass is also overgrown.
The parking area is spacious and convenient. It remains quiet at night. However, the facilities are in poor condition, with no access to water.
