There is a spacious parking area located near Cava Grande in the charming old town of Avola. Managed by a friendly young Sicilian who speaks English and Spanish, although still undergoing construction, the parking area is already available for use.

We could not stop because the large camper vans (Pilote Capucine 6-seaters) cannot fit through their gate, and the second access road was blocked. However, we had a nice conversation with the friendly owners who gave us great advice for hiking in Cava Grande. It's worth trying with a medium-sized camper.
