Located within the Plötzky-Pretzien local recreation area, this campsite offers a peaceful setting surrounded by forests and lakes. Check-in is available until 9:00 p.m. and contact information can be found at the washhouse. The campsite provides designated parking spaces for motorhomes, as well as ample space under the trees. In addition to the 30 spots for short-term campers, there are also long-term campers on site. Guests have access to a washing machine for a fee and a washing-up room with basic cooking facilities.
I chose this place in Magdeburg spontaneously because everything was flooded. It turned out to be the best decision! During this time of the year, I had the place all to myself. In the summer, it's likely filled with long-term campers. It's a great starting point for walks in the forest and by the lake. The showers are good, and there's plenty of water if you don't want to shave.
