All the accommodations in Riga were fully booked, so we decided to drive our camper to an area 25 km away from downtown Riga. It turned out to be a great decision. We enjoyed the solitude and beautiful surroundings at this peaceful spot. The owner, who was very friendly, came the next morning to collect the rent fee of 20€. It only took us 20 minutes to reach downtown Riga from there. Although there was only one power outlet and no water service, this natural spot with a lovely waterfront view and sunset was perfect for vans and caravans.

This place offers a spacious and peaceful environment with a beautiful view. There is also a sauna nearby that can be rented, and you can swim in the lake or play volleyball with the provided net on the property. However, it is important to note that there are no functional toilets and electricity is not available. The price we negotiated was 10 euros, although the initial asking price was 25 euros. The person who greeted us mentioned that this was a special "friend" price, which left us feeling that it may vary depending on the individual.
