There is a free, unpaved parking area located at the exit of Poarta village. The GSM 3G/4G signal is acceptable. It is a quiet location without traffic noise, and an excellent spot for those who want to go hiking in the NW area of the Bucegi Mountains.

We stayed overnight in winter and experienced snowfall, but access and maneuvering remained easy. The surroundings were peaceful, with some occasional barking at night and a bit of traffic in the morning. There is ample parking space for at least 50 vehicles.
