This location is easily accessible for vans and small campers. It offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere by the water's edge. You can enjoy the soothing sound of a small river (called the Balme) that flows into the Ain river. It's a popular spot for swimming and fishing during the summer, and there are hiking trails across the road, including one that leads to a small waterfall. However, there are no amenities available at this location.
Beautiful area. We had a pleasant and quiet night. It is very beautiful and refreshing. You can swim, but despite it being August, the water is cool. We chose to swim in the river to the right before the bridge, enjoying the solitude of the forest. The terrain is accessible for our van, but larger vehicles may have difficulty.
Great parking spot, better for two rather than three. Don't hesitate to go a bit further down the path, there are other beautiful spots that only vans can reach.
