The summit of Ezkaba offers splendid panoramic views of the Pamplona Basin. It is a peaceful location near the fort and often visited by hikers and nature enthusiasts. Although there is parking available, it does not offer any amenities.
The location is incredibly scenic, although the road may not be very smooth, it was manageable for our campervan. We noticed other vehicles passing by during the night. It is important to note that following Google Maps directions can be confusing, unless you specify to avoid the walking tracks. However, if you take the Camino de San Cristobal road, you will have no trouble reaching your destination.
We had a good night despite the strong wind, which seems to be common based on other comments. The only downside was that some young people in vehicles were playing loud music, but they didn't stay for long. The road to get there is in good condition.
