Camping Tanhuvaara offers year-round accommodation for motorhomes, located behind the sports complex. Amenities include a common room with a kitchen, living room, toilet, showers, washing machine, and dryer. Additional services include a washbasin and compressor in the service block, as well as the option to rent a barbecue and a boat for the nearby lake.
The showers were unpleasant and there was loud noise from nearby harvesting on Sundays. However, the campground offers free use of washing machines, dryers, and showers. Access to water and sewage is convenient. The camping spots are spacious and mostly level, requiring minimal maneuvering. We paid €13 for the site and an additional €6 per person, totaling €25. Electricity would have cost an additional €8.
The service provided is excellent with friendly staff. The parking area lacks a scenic view, but the location includes a beach and a modern and attractive service building.
