Captain's House Camper Vans offers five designated spaces for camper vans and mobile homes. These spaces are protected from the wind by small mounds of earth. The campground is located approximately 100 meters from the beach and is free from crowds, restaurants, and shops. Visitors can find a snack shop within a 15-minute walk, as indicated by signs. The pitches are 9.5 meters long and 6 meters wide, accessible through a narrow gate. Some organization may be required. Guests can enjoy stunning sunset views from the campground.
This vacation spot is a peaceful and serene location that directly overlooks a secluded beach. It offers a stunning coastal path to explore, as well as a convenient 10-minute drive to the Black Combe walk and 35 minutes to Scafell. With only five bays, it never gets overcrowded.
Lovely parking spot right by the beach. The bays are wide enough and there is enough distance between them so you're not packed tightly. The owner is friendly and welcoming. We had a peaceful night here. Mobile reception is sometimes poor. The beach is beautiful, but dog owners should be cautious as there are many jellyfish at low tide.
