There is a parking area located at the outskirts of a forest. The parking area is underground, without a paved surface, and has a gentle incline. It is not illuminated, but offers a beautiful view. From the parking area, you can see the city of Hildesheim and numerous small villages. Within the forest, there are various amenities such as a playground, a restaurant, and an inn. Moreover, there are lovely hiking trails to explore. During the day, many people visit this area due to its scenic landscape. In the evening, a few peaceful young individuals come here to relax, and at night, it is a serene and tranquil spot.
We took a long break here. The meadow and the view over the countryside were great. If the time had been right and the noise from the highway hadn't been bothersome, we would have stayed overnight. Unfortunately, there is no playground, contrary to what was described.
The room was fine for one night. We weren't bothered by the noise from the highway.
