The camping site opened in June 2019 and has a friendly owner who is helpful and even offers small repairs for caravans. It is conveniently located about half an hour away from Nevsky Prospect by taxi and metro. The facilities include two clean toilets and a shower, as well as disposal facilities for toilet and gray water. There are plenty of power and water connections available. The kitchen with a lounge area is currently being completed. Guests can also enjoy barbecuing at the site. Some noise from nearby trade and railway lines may be heard during the day, but it is quiet during the night. The camping site is surrounded by a green environment. The last stretch of the driveway may be a bit bumpy, but it is only about 200 meters long.
A great campsite conveniently located for exploring the city. The site is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The owner is friendly and helpful, providing lots of information on attractions, public transportation, and taxis. Laundry facilities are available for a small fee. The campsite also offers a spacious kitchen with cooking facilities and utensils. Taxis to the city center cost approximately 6€.
Camping Neva, located on the outskirts of St. Petersburg, is a wonderful place recommended by other campers. Pavel, the owner, is constantly working to improve the site. He and his neighbors Iren and Peter provided us with a safe haven on the outskirts of the city. Despite not speaking Russian, they helped us navigate the metropolis, providing information and organizing taxi transfers to the metro station. Our dog was well taken care of while we were out. We were impressed by the hospitality and the kind people we met. We highly recommend this place.
