Camping Himmelspforte is a serene and picturesque campsite located by the Weser River, close to Bodenwerder. Although the toilets may appear slightly dated, they are well-maintained. The campsite offers spacious pitches without designated boundaries. You are welcome to bring your furry friend along, and there is even a private harbor with a slipway for boat owners.
The campground may not give the best first impression, but the waterfront spots are fantastic! The campground is quite large and although the facilities are outdated, they are kept clean. The base price is 18 EUR, and you will also need to pay for a mandatory garbage bag and electricity. It's a great starting point for a bike ride along the Weser Cycling Route.
A beautiful camping site with peaceful pitches for motorhomes, located by the Weser river. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were very helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean. Bodenwerder and its surroundings offer many opportunities for great hikes and bike rides.
