Its proximity to the coast of Nord-Pas-de-Calais and the stunning Opal Coast makes it an ideal base for exploring the region, including the famous Grand Site des Deux Caps with its impressive cliffs overlooking the North Sea.
In June 2022, I stayed at a peaceful camping site for two nights. The staff was helpful and friendly and could speak English well. The pitches were spacious, level, and covered with grass, with a conveniently located water tap nearby. They accepted ACSI cards and the showers, although a little outdated, worked well. The swimming pool was excellent, and the site was only 8 km away from Calais.
This site is highly recommended. We stayed here for two nights last year and returned for another two nights recently. The staff is friendly and helpful, the camping spaces are spacious and well-equipped with electricity and water outlets. The showers are clean and provide plenty of hot water. Overall, it's a top-notch site, no wonder it has a '5 Star' rating and is recommended by CAMC.
