I strongly advise against this place, which is not a campground but a private area without any facilities. At a cost of €20 per night, it is quite expensive and very difficult to access.

Vallemaio offers a thrilling camping experience in the wild. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by friendly hosts who showed us around the farm and our designated spot. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings, with only a few passing tractors on the nearby road. The area felt exclusive, aside from a few fellow campers in the forest. Over three nights, we were treated to delicious cooked dinners and breakfasts on the third day. We also had the opportunity to purchase fresh and tasty goods from the farm. While the amenities are basic, they served their purpose, providing a perfect opportunity to recharge before continuing our journey. We highly recommend booking your stay in advance.

A spot surrounded by greenery, offering an "ultra wild" experience. Stefania and Domenico were very kind and helpful, welcoming us with a basket of figs and welcome water upon our arrival! We also had the opportunity to try their delicious natural wine. Note: If you have a large vehicle, make sure to carefully evaluate the arrival route.
