This location is a lovely place to spend the night, offering plenty of shade and easy access to hiking trails on the mountain. We had a peaceful stay here. However, the next day, we were approached by a woman with a dog who informed us that this area is not designated for camping. She mentioned that there have been issues with human waste, but she did not mention any problems with her dog.
