The campsite is run by the Kelburn Country Center Park and offers a pleasant experience with slightly sloping ground. There are around twenty spots available for campers and vans, all equipped with electrical connections. For tent campers, there is a designated lawn area. While the bathroom facilities are shared with the park, campers have exclusive access to showers with a provided code. The price is very competitive, costing £20 for two people with a van and electricity. The friendly staff ensures a warm welcome to all visitors.
Camping near the sea. Please note that the sanitary facilities are clean but far away. We were pleasantly surprised to have access to electricity. We paid £20 online for a group of 4 people - 2 adults and 2 children under 15 years old. We were able to witness a sheepdog herding demonstration as the shepherd brought his sheep back. And as a bonus, we found a blackberry bush which allowed us to make 4 jars of jam!
This campsite is a great find! It has a stunning glen walk and a beautiful forest with artwork. The cost is only £5 for parking and an additional £5 per person.
