The parking area for the Gardiole huts has grass and gravel surfaces and is mostly flat. It has dry toilets available. This location is also the starting point for hikes to the Ambel plateau.

This place has a nice parking area and a quiet night. There is a fountain for water and dry toilets. The self-managed shelter is interesting. However, dogs are not allowed anywhere, even on a leash, which is unfortunate.
