Highly recommended! This campground is situated right on the Ahr river, and offers a cozy and family-friendly atmosphere. The sanitary facilities are extremely clean, and the owner is very friendly. The only downside is the noise from the nearby road and train tracks.
The campsite in Dernau, like most campsites in the Ahrtal, was severely affected by the flood disaster on July 14/15, 2021. As a result, it is currently unavailable for use and will remain closed until further notice.
