We decided to have dinner at a restaurant without making a reservation. The staff reluctantly allowed us to stay and mentioned that we could order quickly. However, we noticed that there were still many empty tables in the restaurant, so we were unsure why they wanted us to hurry. The owner mentioned that they had some bad experiences with campers and were hesitant to accommodate them. It was disappointing not to feel welcome.
This place is a great find. Despite it being a busy week, it was the only available option. The dinner provided was a lifesaver as we were very hungry after a long day of trekking to Snowdon and back. Although there was no electricity, we were able to use the hotel's toilet facilities.
