This campsite is currently undergoing renovations and is situated near a peaceful body of water, just a 5-minute drive from the center of Tokaj. I highly recommend this campsite for anyone looking to explore the Tisza region.
The campground seems a bit disorganized, but if you need information, it's best to ask at the kiosk. The sanitation facilities are clean and fairly new, but they are quite far from the camping spots. There is no shade, but the campground is located right by the river, making it a perfect base for visiting Tokaj. It's suitable for short stays of 1-2 nights.
In August 2022, the accommodations are satisfactory, with access to toilets and hot showers included in the price. The surroundings lack grass and shade, as the area is currently undergoing construction for tourist houses. However, it is conveniently located near the river and the center with wineries. Suitable for short stays of one or two nights.
