There is a large, flat parking area away from the road with nice views. The road is quiet at night and has a few cars during the day. It's a 25-minute walk to Robin Hood's Bay, and a bus to Whitby stops just a short walk away.

This spacious layby is level and able to accommodate approximately four motorhomes. It offers beautiful vistas of both the sea and countryside. There might be some noise from the road until around 10 PM, but during the night, it becomes peaceful and quiet.
