This is a public swimming area with a gravel surface. We kindly ask visitors to help maintain cleanliness in this area.
The place is beautiful and peaceful with a flat ground and spacious parking. The sun sets over the lake, creating stunning colors all night (midnight sun). However, there are two major drawbacks: there is no phone or internet network available, and there is a large number of very hungry mosquitoes.
Beautifully designed bathing area. Only two motorhomes can fit here, otherwise there won't be enough space for the locals. Donations are requested. Many thanks to the volunteer helpers who maintain and care for this place with love.
