The reception staff was friendly and helpful. They spoke English well. The facilities were great, especially the bar area by the lake. We had initially planned to stay for one night but ended up extending our stay to two nights. We highly recommend this place, especially if you have children. It is also conveniently located near Europa Park, which is a great day-trip option.
On Sundays, the local residents enjoy a busy day at the open lake, which attracts a lot of people to the nearby restaurant and TV. The campsite, although housing permanent residents, appears to be well-managed. Additionally, there are convenient cycling routes connecting nearby villages and towns. Furthermore, the lake provides a delightful opportunity to cool off.
