To easily access the town of L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue on foot, we found a suitable location to park our camper. There were no issues with any height restrictions, and the area was not overcrowded. We stayed there for a day, and the parking lot had good lighting until 11 pm. We did not encounter any disturbances from young people during our stay in September 2022.
On Saturday, April 29th at 7:30 PM, the parking lot was already quite full. I parked next to the entrance. There was a lot of noise until 10:30 PM, but then I didn't hear anything else (I am a heavy sleeper). Please note that during July and August, it's best not to arrive too late. The parking is free.
We stayed as a family for two nights. There were 8-10 RVs. It was peaceful with some noise from passing vehicles on the road, but it wasn't busy. Right next to it, there is a skateboard park and a futsal and basketball court. In the afternoon, there are many young people with music, but it's not bothersome. There are restrooms, but no services specifically for RVs. There are garbage containers on one side and near the Gendarmerie, there are recycling bins. The neighbors next door are very quiet (there is a cemetery). We saw what appears to be a power station, but it's under construction. We hope they add more services and it will become an ideal area for families to visit Isle sur la Sorgue, a very beautiful and welcoming village within a 10-minute walk.
