Woodhill Camping Park is a pleasant place to stay, offering a gently sloping site with all the necessary amenities and electrical hookups. The site mainly consists of grass, but there are also some areas with hardstanding. One can enjoy beautiful views of the sea, and there is a coastal path nearby. While there is a shop available, there is no café on-site. The toilets and showers are well-maintained and clean. It is a great location for walking, with the reception offering various routes for purchase. It is important to note that when we visited, the top of the cliff was quite windy. The nearby towns of East and West Runton are within walking distance.
The campsite offers friendly and helpful staff to assist visitors. Pitching a tent on the grass costs £20 per night without electrical hook-up. The shower facilities are clean, and the site is peaceful. Guests can also enjoy the free herb garden. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for our first time in a camper van during the Easter break.
This site is highly recommended, especially for families. It has a lively atmosphere without being loud or disruptive. It's conveniently located just a 20-minute walk away from the beach, passing by some excellent pubs along the way. From there, you can enjoy a two-mile walk along the beach to Cromer and its famous pier. While I initially requested a grass pitch, they only had electric hook-up available, but they still charged me the grass rate. Overall, it was a well-operated site.
