You can hear the airplanes landing in Rome, but there are not many other campers around in early October. The sanitary facilities are okay, but unfortunately, you have to bring your own toilet paper.
Introducing a recently opened campsite with a bar, multiple swimming pools, and future plans for a motorhome service area. Although not fully operational yet, there are nearby facilities to empty and service motorhomes. This hidden gem is perfect for families with teenagers, but as it becomes more popular, tranquility may decrease in the coming years.

This campground is very large and modern. The shaded spots are beautifully arranged. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the metro. During the off-season, it costs 34€ for a campervan and 3 people, plus 6€ for taxes. The pools are closed, but the bathrooms are operational and clean. It's a good place for a stopover, but for a longer stay in Rome, I would recommend choosing a campsite closer to the city.
