Isefjærleiren is a camping site and naturist center that was previously a British military training camp. Since 1996, it has been converted into a peaceful holiday center for nature and peace lovers. The location is serene and picturesque, with a friendly host who can communicate in English. In just a 30-minute drive, you can reach Lillesand or Sorlandssenteret, the largest shopping mall in Southern Norway.
This place has everything you need for a peaceful stay, including a large kitchen, a comfortable lounge area with billiards, darts, and a television. The washing and drying facilities are good, and after two cold rainy days, the sauna in the evening was a highlight. It's interesting to see that many neighbors from the fjord come by boat to enjoy the hot tub – different places, different customs!
An exclusive campsite for friends of naturalist lifestyle. The best campsite we found during our trip to Norway. We were warmly welcomed and felt like family. We enjoyed swimming in the fjord during the day (with a water temperature of 23°C) and relaxing in the sauna or hot tub in the evenings. We will definitely be returning. (46 words)
