There is a shady area with a nearby beach bar and some permanent campers. It can get crowded during the day with visitors. Dogs may be present but are usually calm. It's recommended to approach the area from the north for easier access. Avoid the route from the south due to road conditions and possible closures.
We drove down the solid road almost to the end and parked by the roadside a bit away from the old campsite. This way, we had a view of the sea. Some cars passed by, including a Greek woman going for a swim. Everyone was friendly. The beach is incredibly beautiful with a great view. There's a snack bar in the village above with good food.
