Thurso Bay Caravan and Camping Park is a campsite located by the sea. Although it offers a great view, the facilities could be better maintained. The dryers still have residue from a past year, the table water lacks hot water making cleaning difficult, and there is a noticeable odor of fried food near the registration shop. Considering the cost of £30 for 2 people, these aspects are disappointing.
The site offered beautiful beach views, and we were fortunate to witness a lovely sunset during our stay. However, it was quite expensive for what we received—a £30 fee for two adults in a VW camper with electric hookup and no awning. The WiFi was accessible, but the on-site diner was closed. The shower block required a code and the facilities were outdated.
