Ciucas Rest Stop is a convenient and accessible picnic area located off the main road. It offers 15 gazebos, tables, benches, and a barbecue area. There is also free parking available right next to the barbecue. The rest stop is surrounded by forests on both sides, which makes it easily accessible for campervans. It's a great place to take a break or even spend the night without any camping fees.
We spent a peaceful night at this beautiful place. It's disappointing that despite the presence of several trash bins, people don't take care of their surroundings. Please note that the lighting here is very bright, almost like floodlights. It's better to step to the side, otherwise it will be as bright as daytime even at night.
