This is a car parking lot that gets busy during the day, especially when the weather is nice. Visitors, dog owners, cyclists, and joggers frequently come here. There is also some traffic, as well as activities related to the gay and sex scene. There is a path/trail around the lake for morning activities, and fire pits by the lake. However, lighting fires in this area is prohibited due to the risk of underground fire spread in the moor. The lot has an additional sign.
We found a peaceful place to spend the night before heading towards Hamburg Centre. We'd say we hit the jackpot! It's very quiet, with a large parking lot and just a few meters away from a beautiful lake. There are picnic spots by the lake and great walking paths. It's ideal for dogs too! We're very glad we found it through the app.
The area is described as gravelled and mostly flat. The access is suitable for vehicles like Dukato. There is a train track nearby. I will provide updates on the noise level during the night.
