Hanul Piratilor is a stunning camping site located close to the beach. It is specifically designed for campers and caravans, so tents are not allowed. Although it may be slightly more costly than other options, it is still possible to find available spots in August.
The campsite is currently only accepting motorhomes and caravans, not campervans like our VW T4. We arrived after check-in hours, which end at 7:00pm, so we couldn't check in. The photos on Google are outdated as there are now big hotels being constructed in front of the campsite at the beach.
The campsite offers a friendly atmosphere and has English-speaking staff. It is mainly preferred by families. The price for a van, 2 adults, and 2 children is 130 lei, which includes a good location. Please note that only caravans and motorhomes are allowed, tents are not permitted.
