The place is incredibly quiet but there were lots of midges, similar to those in Scotland. To avoid them, we made sure to keep doors and windows closed. This might cause delays in arrival.

Numerous spots available along the lane, be cautious of sheep on the moorland and keep your dog on a lead. Limited traffic and one other camper about half a mile away.

A great find visited in the evening, had the spot to oneself until the next morning, with only a few cars passing by. Woke up to beautiful views of the lake.
