I found a pub that offered camper parking for 15 pounds per night. The owner was friendly and allowed me to stay for free since I arrived and left during off-peak hours. There is a cozy coffee shop in front of the pub in the morning, and nearby there are scenic loop walks in the forest. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Affordable accommodation available at £15 per night or even for free if you dine at the establishment. The meals provided were of excellent quality and the staff provided excellent customer service. Additionally, it appears that they allow dogs and even horses. Highly recommended.
There is a £15 charge to stay in a basic gravel carpark without any amenities. Eating and drinking in the pub does not result in a discount. The carpark seems to be utilized as a storage area for vehicles, with around a dozen vehicles in different conditions of disrepair. Based on this experience, the decision not to return was made.
