Harz Mountain Camp "Am Schierker Stern" is a lovely and uncomplicated campsite, offering a reception and a cozy bistro for guests. The sanitary facilities include showers, toilets, and a lounge area for dishwashing and relaxation. This campsite is an ideal starting point for hiking and biking adventures, being situated near the highest local mountain, Brocken (1141 m). You can enjoy pitching your tent on grass, with a picturesque view of the Brocken. Tent pitches are free, while numbered pitches on gravel are available for caravans or mobile homes. During the summer season, the campsite tends to fill up quickly, so it is advisable to make a reservation in advance.

The place is very quiet and pleasant. Electricity is charged based on usage. Unfortunately, there are no pegs or gravel available, but they weren't needed due to the nice weather.
