The road is open in summer but is rough, so avoid using larger vans. There are low-hanging branches. The best camping spot is near the small chapel, where swimming and camping are allowed. There's a picnic area with a bin near the footbridge, and a paved parking lot for six RVs on the other side. The lake is nice and less crowded.
